Давно уже не было дпл, может трудности перевода или чего-нибудь перепутали.

Этот снимок уже публиковался здесь. Тем не менее хочу его освежить, т.к. он является вырезкой из журнала. Дополнительно привожу некоторые пояснения с "той" стороны.

"The Soviet trawler Ekwator tried to move into the Space Shuttle solid rocket booster recovery area during the Paunch on Sunday and had to be ordered out by a U.S. helicopter and cutter. The Coast Guard helicopter first spotted the Ekwator at the edge of the recovery area 170 miles east of Flagler Beach, Florida, and asked it to move out of the area. After initially complying, the Ekwator made several efforts to move in closer, but was prevented by the cutter
Steadfast. Finally, the Ekwator went dead in the water
outside of the impact area. Yesterday the trawler
monitored the recovery of the United Technologies booster castings as they were towed back to the Navy's Trident submarine base at Port Canaveral. One of the casings was to be towed up the Banana River to the Kennedy Space Center

(Yeah we saw the Ekwator very closely, and they saw our naked butts when we mooned them when we went by. Their trick was to pull ahead of us and turn broadside to our path, raise distress flags declaring that they had lost power and photograph us as we went around them — hence the mooning. The reason they tried to get into the landing zone was to collect samples of whatever they could get their hands on. After STS-1 the Ekwator was seen off the coast of Long Island to "watch" the sea trials of the first Ohio Class Trident submarine)
